doo is a useful document management tool which allows you to access all your documents, whether they be located on your device or in any of your cloud storage spaces quickly and easily from your Android device. The app features a tagging function which allows you to locate the documents you’re looking for in double-quick time. It’s a simple app to use and, although you have to individually log in to your cloud services, from then on it’s a user-friendly hub for all your electronic docs.
Tested on: Nexus 4
doo, in a nutshell, is a central hub for all your documents. These might already be located on your device, on your computer at home or on some of your cloud storage spaces such as Dropbox and Google Drive. The beauty of doo is that it puts all these spaces under one roof and allows you to search for your documents across all spaces. Can’t remember where you put your essay? Or latest sales figures? Maybe you’re writing a novel and it’s located on your computer at home… doo lets you find documents very quickly.
Initially, and this is sluggish bit, you have to log into your cloud spaces. The good news is that this doesn’t take long and once you have attached them to your doo account, it’s done and you will not have to log in again. doo is a little limited in the sources you can attach. For example, if you’re a SugarSync or Box.net user, you will be unable to access the files contained there. It’s essentially limited to documents stored in either your Dropbox or Google accounts.
